Daily Routine

The Hayes Preschool (ages 3 years-5 years):

While we do not have a strict schedule, we do have a routine.
Our students start inside before heading to Chapel. After Chapel, we start our time outside.
As the students become hungry, snack and lunch are offered (though not provided) during the day.
Our outdoor environment changes based on the children’s interests.

The Hayes Cottage (kindergarten-third grade):

9:00-10:00-Morning Time: Singing, Chapel, Read aloud, narration, map work, memory work
10:00-10:30-Snack/ Outdoor play
10:30-12:00-Math and Phonics (Plus science or history reading activities)
12:00-2:00-Lunch, quiet time, free reading (Projects/Baking)

Our drop off times are 8:50a-9:10a.

Our pick up times are 1:50p-2:10p.

Verbal interactions between staff members or faculty and students should be positive and uplifting. Our school staff members and faculty should strive to keep verbal interactions encouraging, constructive, and be ever mindful of their mission of aiding parents in educating children. Staff members and faculty are expected to refrain from swearing in the presence of students. We are committed to providing a work environment that is free of discrimination and unlawful harassment. Actions, words, jokes, or comments based on an individual’s sex, race, ethnicity, age or religion will not be tolerated.
